Every Pro capability above is implemented and enforced in the code. What is missing is billing: the payment provider is still in test mode, so the upgrade button would take a card number and do nothing useful with it. Rather than dress that up as "coming soon", the honest version is that there is currently no way to pay us, and the free plan is the entire product you can actually get today.
If you are near the free limits and want Pro switched on, say so — knowing anyone wants it is the thing that decides when billing goes live.
Free is not a demo tier. It carries the parts that make the answers worth trusting:
The limits that bite first on free are the 5 pages and the daily cadence. If a page matters within the hour, free will not tell you within the hour.
Worth saying plainly, because a tool you abandon costs more than one you never adopted. If a vendor already publishes an RSS feed or a mailing list for the thing you want — security advisories, most changelogs — subscribe to that instead; it is faster and it is authoritative. sincewhen earns a slot on pages with no feed, where change is rare, consequential, and a day late is acceptable: terms and pricing pages, API documentation you have integrated against, document indexes where a new PDF appearing is the event.
